We have not yet figured out how to put these on without taking the brake system off.   If you do please let us know!!!  :)

These instructions are primarily for mustang Bullitt and GT models. Other cars will require less because of space .ex. removal of brake system

Before installing put your old PVC grommet and mounting bushings in the new covers.  Make sure gasket is seated.

Right Side -remove air ducting from air cleaner to throttle body.  Disconnect wiring harness to plugs and injectors, tie up out of the way as high as possible. Use caution and patience when sliding cover in place to prevent gasket damage.  Scrape RTV off at top and bottom and re-apply with new cover. Remove throttle body and plug coils to get clearance on pass side.

Left Side -Disconnect P.S. reservoir from front of block.  Disconnect wire harness to plugs and injectors, also other connections as required.  Tie up and back as far as possible.  Disconnect piggy-back brake reservoir from booster cylinder (don't have to remove brake lines).  Disconnect nut on fire wall that holds brake line proportioning junction.  This will allow enough line movement to remove booster.  Disconnect brake actuator from under dash, remove booster. Remove stock cover, clean old RTV off, put new RTV at joint by cylinder and chain cover.  Install new cover.  Use caution not to bump or damage gasket when putting on cover.  Be patient, it's a tight fit!  Tighten cover snug, rubber grommet will seat on head.  Torque reference 89 inch pounds.  Your old oil fill cap or MGW cap will fit on new cover.
